WHY CHARTER WITH US:
When conditions permit we will be providing guided ice fishing trips on Lake Erie for walleye and/or perch. Your safety is our primary concern. We can transport up to three people per trip, but can make arrangements for larger groups with advance notice. We offer airboats and four wheelers for your transportation to and from the ice (conditions will vary transportation options).

All bait, tackle, rods/reels, ice shanties, small heaters, and fish finders are provided.

Each year many Lake Erie ice fisherman are stranded when the ice cracks or drifts away from shore. They are rescued by the coast guard and other agencies but must leave all their equipment on the ice. Our use of airboats means that when you fish with us, you don't get stranded and leave nothing behind.

YOU SHOULD BRING:

Warm, dry clothing (dress in layers with outermost layer water resistant windbreaker or rainwear)
Waterproof / Gore-Tex insulated boots (rubber soled)
Warm hat and face mask
Neoprene gloves or mittens
Lunch and beverage (NO HARD LIQUOR, BEER OK)
High energy snacks recommended
Sun glasses and ski goggles
Hand / body warmers
Camera (disposable / waterproof recommended)
Extra change of clothes (in case you get wet)
Cooler - to take home your catch (please leave in your car)
Pack lightly as space is limited
Valid Ohio fishing license
Stool/ bucket to sit on and store your gear

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THIS CHARTER

Dear DB Sport Fishing Ice Charter Client:

Winter on Lake Erie can be downright nasty and danger is inherent to those unaccustomed to frigid winds or unstable walking conditions. I will attempt to make your trip safe, enjoyable and productive. However, I can't prevent all accidents from occurring (such as slips on the ice, fish hooks in the hands, etc.). For this reason, I will not take anyone out on the ice who has not signed a copy of this form. By signing this form, you absolve DB Sport Fishing Ice Charters, John Gribble and or crew, of any and all liability in the case of any loss and/or injury to persons and/or property occurring at any time during your chartered ice fishing trip. Furthermore, by your signature, you also agree to follow my instructions while on the ice to minimize risks to yourself and others. Intoxication while on the ice will result in the immediate termination of your charter and forfeiture of your payment.
